2004 Swimwear Industry Model Search:
Model Search Information Package
Sponsored by Swimwear Network International® (SNI®)
& Swimweargirls.com®
Model Search Information Package:
The 2003 Swimwear Industry Model Search is a search for swimwear
models for many of the top swimwear companies within the swimwear industry.
There are preliminary Swimwear Industry Model Searches held at local venues.
Each licensed location will choose a venue contest finalist who will receive
an invitation to participate in the SNI National Competition. If there
is not a local venue holding a competition in your area you may apply
on-line. Please see On-line Swimwear Industry Model Search Information
below.
All Contestants will be considered for swimwear advertisements, catalogs,
calendars, posters, billboards, trade shows, promotional events and well
known national magazines, like For Him Magazine (FHM). To check out a
complete list of the Swimwear companies you can go to the companies
section of the website. SwimwearGirls.com will be judging models to showcase
on our website. The models that are showcased have the opportunity to
be placed on the Swimweargirls.com website which is a portal for swimwear
companies to find some of the best models in the business.
The National Competition is a 3-day event, where each day is filled with
swimwear photo shoots, model seminars that help you network into the swimwear
industry, and also a chance to meet with many Swimwear company representatives.
Meeting with the swimwear representatives gives everyone an opportunity
to discuss modeling jobs and acquire modeling contracts. Making it to
the National Competition means it is your chance to expand your modeling
into the swimwear industry, as well as an opportunity to win the largest
swimwear model search ever.
As a venue finalist, experienced photographers who are experts at shooting
swimwear will photograph you. Most of the photographers have shot ad campaigns,
catalogs, posters, and calendars for many of the major swimwear companies.
This is the best opportunity to be seen by the industry and photographed
by the best.
The official Swimwear Industry Model Search is an extremely exclusive
and professional event. To increase chances of competition success arrive
on time, keep hair and make-up simple and natural. Its also a good
idea to bring a couple headshots and body shots of yourself to show how
you look when you are photographed. Show some personality, take your time
and walk naturally. The judges are interested in your overall fitness,
personality, photogenic ability, and in seeing how you and your body move
naturally. Prior modeling experience is not required.
